Upon completion of the study abroad program, the host institution abroad issues an official transcript. This transcript is processed by API and/or its schools of record and then sent to the address specified by the student or study abroad office on the Transcript Request Form.

It can take several months for grades to be issued and sent by the host institution, so students are advised to account for the time delay when making plans for credit transference with their home university.

While most transcript requests use a standard form, some universities have their own requirements. If your city/university is not listed in the exceptions list below, please use the standard transcript request form.
